Being my mode of commuting to college Delhi metro has become a part of my daily routine. With earphones playing my favourite tracks and head observing people around, I complete my daily journey .
The rush hours, when you realize that the growing population of India needs to be controlled 😂, is actually a good place to observe the diversity of my nation. It’s like people fighting because someone just stepped on their feet, or people just elbowing to make place for themselves, some just trying to balance themselves. But, today I witnessed something different, something unusual.
No the crowd was same, the rush was same and same were the destinations! But, suddenly people were exchanging smiles.
YES, the otherwise lost in their own world people were actually exchanging smiles. All the credit for this goes to a baby barely an year old sitting on lap of his mother.
He was so amazed (I guess) on observing so many people standing around him…
He was the first to start the flow of positivity among that group of people and once the flow started it travelled from person to person and fortunately I was the part of the positivity flow. Some passenger of “that group” held their smile while departing too!
This sight is worth talking about! Because what I observed is that we are finding reason to smile in our surrounding, in the external world. What’s within us doesn’t make us smile? Or we have just stopped?
We are just so busy to find reasons behind everything ,for doing anything we need an appropriate reason. To my amusement people are actually web searching about “the benefits” “the reason” “Why to” “when to” how to” smile….. REALLY?
We are so busy determining negativity around, criticising the society, thinking of all the bad things possible that we have given all the space in our head to it, leading us to smile less often.
Its not that, that we don’t have a reason to smile. But we are so busy counting the negatives that positives are left behind somewhere. I am not here disregarding all the negatives and problems we are surrounded with but for once lets give break to our reasoning power and share smiles. Maybe it will help!
NO ITS NOT DIFFICULT TO SMILE IT JUST REQUIRES THAT OTHER PERSPECTIVE!
CAN WE JUST SMILE PLEASE!❤
